Phone call between Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and His Highness Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al-Thani, Amir of the State of Qatar

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi spoke on phone today with His Highness Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al-Thani, Amir of the State of Qatar, to convey Eid-ul-Fitr greetings to the friendly people of Qatar.

Prime Minister warmly appreciated the personal care taken by H.H. the Amir for ensuring the welfare of the Indian citizens in Qatar during the COVID-19 pandemic. In turn, H.H. The Amir appreciated the contributions of the Indian community in Qatar, especially the role being played by Indian health workers.

Prime Minister highlighted the attention being paid by Indian authorities to avoid any disruption in the supply of essential goods from India to Qatar during the present situation.

Prime Minister conveyed his warm greetings for the forthcoming 40th birthday of H.H. The Amir, and expressed best wishes for his continued good health and success.

El Primer Ministro Shri Narendra Modi habló hoy por teléfono con Su Alteza Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al-Thani, Amir del Estado de Qatar, para transmitir los saludos de Eid-ul-Fitr a la cálida gente de Qatar.

El Primer Ministro agradeció afectuosamente el cuidado personal tomado por Su Alteza el Amir para garantizar el bienestar de los ciudadanos indios en Qatar durante la pandemia de COVID-19. A su vez, Su Alteza el Amir agradeció las contribuciones de la comunidad india en Qatar, especialmente el papel que desempeñan los trabajadores de salud indios.

El Primer Ministro destacó la atención prestada por las autoridades indias para evitar cualquier interrupción en el suministro de bienes esenciales de la India a Qatar durante la situación actual.

El Primer Ministro transmitió sus cálidos saludos por el próximo cuarentavo cumpleaños de Su Alteza el Amir, y expresó sus mejores deseos por su continua buena salud y éxito.
