Applicants can apply either for E-Visa online or Physical Paper Visa with the Embassy of India, Bogota

Important Instructions

* The Passport of the traveler should have the validity of at least 6 months from the date of arrival in India and should contain at least two blank pages  for stamping by the immigration officer.

* The applicant must travel on the Passport with which he/she has applied for e-Visa. Entry will be allowed into India on the new Passport even if ETA has been issued on the old Passport, however, in such cases, he/she must carry the old Passport on which ETA was issued.

* The e-Visa is completely controlled by the authorities in India and Embassy has no control over the visa issuance process, so for any queries regarding e-Visa applicants are requested to please contact the support team directly, the details of the same are given as below

Procedure for Physical Paper Visa with the Embassy of India, Bogota:

List of documents required: 

Note : The Conference Visa is granted for the period of the Conference / Seminar. Keep in mind that you cannot mix the purposes of visiting India.

Passport
Dully filled Application Form with signatures, photo pasted and uploaded. (On-line application form)
Invitation letter to the conference/seminar 
Political clearance from Ministry of Home Affairs (*** based on the Nationality and location of Conference. Contact Embassy with the Invitation letter to know whether Political Clearance letter is required or not) 
Personal bank statements of the last 3 months with $6.000.000 COP or $2.000 USD 
In case, your husband/wife/children will be responsible for your expenses, please attach a notarized letter stating the same along with the copy of the birth registration or marriage certificate.
All certifications originating in India should be first notarized.
In case, your company/spouse/parents will be responsible for your expenses, please attach a notarize letter stating responsibility for trip expenses along with the copy of the birth registration, marriage certificate.
Flight reservation or copy of air ticket.
Copy of International Yellow Fever vaccination certificate.
