The information and documents required for applying Conference Visa

APPLICANTS ARE ADVISED TO SUBMIT THEIR APPLICATION 2-4 WEEKS BEFORE THEIR FLIGHT

Applicants can apply either for e-Conference Visa online or Regular Paper Conference Visa through the Embassy.

Procedure ( CLICK HERE ) for Regular Conference Visa through the Embassy of India, Bogota: The Conference Visa is granted for the period of the Conference / Seminar. Keep in mind that you cannot mix the purposes of visiting India.

List of documents required:

(a) The passport (original) with a minimum validity of one (1) Year with at least three continuous blank pages

(b) Duly filled application form with signatures and photo uploaded. White background photo uploaded into the system. White background photo 5x5cm pasted to the form. It has to be signed on both pages (in the 2 spaces required) (On-line application form). Low quality images will not be accepted.

(d) Political clearance from Ministry of Home Affairs (*** based on the Nationality and location of Conference. Contact Embassy with the Invitation letter to know whether Political Clearance letter is required or not)

(e) Personal bank statements of the last 3 months with $6.000.000 COP or $2.000 USD

(f) In case, your husband/wife/children will be responsible for your expenses, please attach a notarized letter stating the same along with the copy of the birth registration or marriage certificate.
(g) All certifications originating in India should be first notarized.

(h) In case, your company/spouse/parents will be responsible for your expenses, please attach a notarize letter stating responsibility for trip expenses along with the copy of the birth registration, marriage certificate.

(i) Flight reservation or copy of air ticket.

(j) Copy of International Yellow Fever vaccination certificate.

(l) Original bank deposit slip/ Or copy of bank transfer

(m) All visa applications must be accompanied by travel insurance for the period of time that person is visiting India.

PAYMENT OF VISA FEES:

(a) Applicants are advised to refer to the latest Visa Fee Chart and payment procedure before making payment. For details of applicable Visa Fees and the payment procedure, please CLICK HERE .

(b) Applicants are requested to ensure that the prescribed Visa fee is paid as per the latest payment procedure specified on the above page.
