International Year of Cooperatives 2025!

The United Nations General Assembly proclaimed 2025 as the International Year of Cooperatives, underscoring the vital role cooperatives play in sustainable development. This year’s theme “Cooperatives Build a Better World” underscores the enduring global impact of cooperatives, positioning them as essential solutions to today’s global challenges. 
In the next 3 years, through 2 lakh new Primary Agricultural Credit Societies (PACS) will be set up and there will not be a single village in India without a cooperative society.

La Asamblea General de las Naciones Unidas proclamó 2025 Año Internacional de las Cooperativas, subrayando el papel vital que desempeñan las cooperativas en el desarrollo sostenible. El tema de este año «Las cooperativas construyen un mundo mejor» destaca el impacto global duradero de las cooperativas, posicionándolas como soluciones esenciales a los desafios globales de hoy.

En los próximos 3 años, a través de 2 lakh nuevas Sociedades de Crédito Agrícola Primario (PACS) serán creadas y no habrá un solo pueblo en la India sin una sociedad cooperativa.
