FICCI is in the continued endeavour to develop and evaluate newer trade and economic linkages between India and Latin American and Caribbean (LAC) Region, and it has identified tremendous scope for Indian universities, Edutech companies, and other educational institutions in the LAC region.

Hence, FICCI is organizing “India- LAC Cooperation in Edu 4.0” from 7 to 9 July 2021 with the support of Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India, focused especially on the Education sector. It is felt that engagement between India and LAC region can be enhanced more by imparting education & professional skills and mainly by enhancing the trade in educational services. As conventional trade in goods and commodities has its own challenges due to distance and other barriers and education is a service where India has grown in heaps and bounds, also India has expertise in providing educational services and reaching the far-off areas.

Keeping this approach in mind, the 3-day “India- LAC Cooperation in Edu 4.0” aims to offer a platform for education alliances between Universities/ institutes/ educational service provider (online-offline both) from both the regions, joint ventures of knowledge, student and cultural exchange programs to contribute towards our educational & economic growth. 

The component of the Edu 4.0 meet would be:

  • Focused Industry interaction between India and LAC
  • 3-day Virtual exhibition (would comprise around 15-20 Indian companies from the Education sectors)
  • B2B meeting
