Bharat KoJaniye Quiz: 2018-19

Government of India will be organizing the 2nd Edition of the Bharat KoJaniye(Know India )Quiz 2018-19 in September 2018. The Quiz aims at motivating youths to know and understand India.
The live web portal of the 2nd edition of Bharat KoJaniye is https://bharatkojaniye.in/ which features the Guidelines and Rules, alongwith other relevant information including Model Test and FAQs.
The BKJ Quiz will be held online for two categories of PIO & NRI aged between 15 to 35 years. The quiz is open to foreign nationals also. The last date for registration for participation in the quiz is till 15 September 2018. Registration on the Portal is mandatory by eligible contestant. There is no entry fee.
The 1st round of Quiz will be conducted for the registered contestants from Colombia and Ecuador online by the Embassy of India, Bogota. The registered contestants may appear in the Quiz from anywhere from 16-30 September, 2018 (local time).Once registered, the participant may send an email to fs.bogota@mea.gov.in and com2.bogota@mea.gov.in, for further information and queries.
{Note: 1st round of quiz will contain 30 multiple choice objective type questions to be answered in maximum of 25 minutes without any negative marking. While evaluating the question papers the time taken to answer the questions will be accounted for}.
The second round of the Quiz will be conducted online by the Ministry of External Affairs and the third and final round will be conducted in New Delhi.
Top three candidates from each of the NRI and PIO/OCI and foreign national category from Colombia & Ecuador in the first round, will move to the second round, where they will compete with candidates from other countries in the Second Round. 10 finalists from the Second Round in each of three categories will be selected for the Third and Fourth rounds and will be invited to India. They will attend a workshop in Delhi and participate in the ‘Bharat koJaniyeYatra’ - a 15-day tour of India. Top three winners of the Final (Fourth) round of BKJ Quiz 2019 from each category will receive Gold, Silver and Bronze medals and a Certificate at the PravasiBharatiyaDiwas (PBD) Convention, in January 2019 at Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh (India).
