Account Details for Payment of Consular Fees

Applicants applying from Colombia: Applicants may pay the prescribed Consular fee by in-person bank deposit in the following account of the Embassy of India:

Applicants are required to submit the original bank deposit slip/payment receipt along with the documents for the relevant service.

Important Note:

(a)   Approximately COP 20,000 + IVA may apply to deposits made at branches outside Bogotá. Any applicable bank charges shall be borne by the applicant and are in addition to the prescribed Consular fee.

(b) Additional Payment Option: Applicants who wish to make online payment may contact the Embassy at visa.bogota@mea.gov.in with a copy to consular.bogota@mea.gov.in to request the Embassy's QR Code as an additional payment arrangement. Any applicable bank/payment charges shall be borne by the applicant. In case of any failed transaction or dispute relating to payment, the applicant shall resolve the matter directly with Banco de Occidente.

Please note that bank transfer is not accepted.

Applicants applying from Ecuador: Applicants from Ecuador should continue to make payment through Banco Pichincha, Ecuador, as per the existing procedure:

Applicants are required to submit the original bank deposit slip/payment receipt along with the documents for the relevant service.

Important: 

(a) No cash payment through courier or at the Embassy will be accepted.

(b) Personal cheques and company cheques will not be accepted.

(c) Applicants should ensure that the correct prescribed fee is deposited before submitting the application.

(d) The application must be submitted within 3 months from the date of payment. After 3 months, the fee will lapse and a fresh payment will be required. No refund request will be entertained after expiry of this period. Refund Policy for Consular Services
