Embassy of India to Celebrate Hindi Diwas 2026

The Embassy of India in Bogota will celebrate Hindi Diwas 2026 on 14 September 2026 at the Embassy of India, Calle 116 #7-15 Int. 2 of 301.

2. Hindi Diwas is observed every year on 14 September. The occasion provides an opportunity to promote the Hindi language and celebrate its rich literary, cultural and historical heritage.
   
   
3. As part of the celebrations, the Embassy will organize various activities aimed at encouraging greater interest in and appreciation of the Hindi language. These will include an essay-writing competition and poetry recital, providing participants with an opportunity to express their thoughts and creativity in Hindi and showcase the richness of Hindi literature and poetry.
   
   
4. The essay-writing competition will be organised on contemporary and relevant themes, including:
   
   

1. डिजिटल युग में हिंदी: अवसर, चुनौतियाँ और संभावनाएँ
2. वैश्विक मंच पर हिंदी की बढ़ती पहचान और भारत की सांस्कृतिक शक्ति
3. युवा पीढ़ी और हिंदी: परंपरा, तकनीक और भविष्य
   
   

5. The poetry recital will also be organised which will provide Hindi enthusiasts and participants with an opportunity to recite poems and share their appreciation of the beauty, diversity and literary richness of the Hindi language.
   
   
6. The celebration will bring together members of the Indian community, Hindi enthusiasts and friends of India to celebrate the language and its contribution to India's cultural and linguistic heritage.
   
   
7. The Embassy of India warmly invites members of the Indian community and all Hindi enthusiasts to participate in the celebrations and contribute to making Hindi Diwas 2026 a meaningful and memorable occasion.
