The event will take place on 20–21 January 2027 at the Maira Resort & Convention Centre in Raipur, Chhattisgarh, India.

IIRS 2027 is an international platform bringing together Indian rice producers, millers, processors and exporters; international buyers and importers; government representatives; research institutions; technology providers; and other stakeholders across the rice sector.

The summit will feature exhibitions, B2B meetings, buyer–seller interactions, knowledge-sharing sessions, a CEO Round Table, a culinary experience zone and other activities, with a particular focus on India’s high-quality non-basmati rice and the rice value chain.

  • Connect directly with Indian manufacturers and exporters to identify sourcing opportunities.

  • Explore commercial partnerships and establish long-term business relationships with Indian suppliers.

  • Learn about global rice industry outlooks, market trends and emerging opportunities.

  • Examine the effects of climate change on rice production and trade.

  • Understand global rice import and export trends and emerging trade opportunities.

For participating business delegations, including rice importers and buyers, the organisers are pleased to offer the following hospitality, logistical support and trade facilitation benefits:

  • Accommodation at the Maira Resort & Convention Centre.

  • Free registration and participation in both days of the summit.
