Business Forum on “How to Do Business with India” – Bucaramanga 

The Embassy of India in Bogotá, in collaboration with the Bucaramanga Chamber of Commerce, organized a Business Forum in Bucaramanga to explore opportunities with India, with a focus on the textiles and information technology (IT) sectors.

The Ambassador emphasized the importance of continuing to strengthen commercial ties between the Santander region and India. Ms. María Alejandra Sampayo, Vice President of Global Sustainability and Growth at the Chamber, welcomed the Embassy’s outreach efforts in Santander.

The program included a presentation by Mr. Cristhian Salamanca titled “Doing Business with India,” followed by a panel discussion featuring Mr. Germán Vivas, representing the India–Colombia Chamber of Commerce; Mr. Wilson Calderón from Zoho Corporation (ManageEngine); Mr. Mohit Nahar from Mohit Nahar Group; Mr. Andrés Muñoz from Asia Group; and the Commercial Attaché of the Embassy.

The session provided valuable insights into India’s business landscape and highlighted potential areas of collaboration, particularly in textiles, IT, and innovation-driven sectors. The event concluded with a networking session, fostering new connections and partnerships to further deepen trade relations between India and Colombia.
