AYUSH Scholarship
AYUSH Scholarships Scheme for the Academic Year 2026-27
The Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) on behalf of Ministry of AYUSH, Govt. of India has announced "AYUSH Scholarships Scheme" for Undergraduate (UG) & Postgraduate (PG) in Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha & Homeopathy, Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Yoga, Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) (Yoga Shastra), Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Yoga, Ph.D in Yoga and Ayurveda in Indian Universities and Institutes for the Academic Year 2026-27.
The A2A portal (http://a2ascholarships.iccr.gov.in) will be open from 27 February, 2026 at 1700hrs until 15 April, 2026 for students to apply for scholarships. Interested applicants are requested to fill in the application through the A2A Scholarship Portal website, following the instructions found on: https://a2ascholarships.iccr.gov.in/home/page/instructions-to-candidates-for-filling-the-application-form.
Additionally, the guidelines for the Scholarship are uploaded on the portal, and special attention is given to the following points:
• Age criteria: Minimum Age - 18 years for all courses; Maximum Age - 40 years for UG/PG/ Diploma courses and 50 years for Ph.D; no upper age limit for courses in art and culture unless specified by the concerned institution). The date of birth may be scrutinized through the copy of the passport uploaded on the portal by student or through any other document.
• Special attention may be given to the Medical fitness of the student especially with regard to chronic contagious/non-communicable diseases, sound mental health and mandatory/obligatory vaccination etc.
• English proficiency is required for all academic programmes.
