ICCR SCHOLARSHIPS 2022 - 2023

The Indian Council for Cultural Relations and the Embassy of India in Colombia are pleased to announce the new call for applying for the General Scholarship Scheme and the Scholarship scheme for Indian Culture, for the academic year 2022 - 2023. We invite all the interested international students to apply through the (ICCR A2A Portal), which will be operational from the 25th January 2022. 

Apart from the General Guidelines established by ICCR, please take into account the following: 

1. Students may obtain the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) equivalence (if required). In case AIU equivalence is required the student may apply for the same at: Association of Indian Universities (AIU) and bear the fees incurred on obtaining the certificate at own expense (non-reimbursable). 2. These scholarship slots include return economy class air-fares to the nearest airport and 3rd AC Train fare to the place of study, if required. The Embassy will book one way economy class ticket (from the country of origin to India). 

3. It is compulsory for all ICCR scholarship students to procure Medical Insurance policy with minimum sum assured for Five Lakhs per annum. The medical insurance must be acquired by the candidate either before travel or immediately after reaching India, whichever is convenient. Students can purchase medical insurance from any of the insurance companies of their choice. However to facilitate students, A2A Portal has two insurance companies for referral purpose.

APPLICATION TIMELINE**

25-January-2022: Opening for ICCR A2A Portal for admissions. 

30-April-2022: Last date of application to be submitted by students. 

31-May-2022: Last date of Universities to inform the decision (if confirmed, the University will inform the Embassy. If the application is rejected, University will directly inform the candidate).

*Scholarship scheme for Indian Culture: This programme is offering 100 slots (globally).
